Any profits from the sales of this album also went towards Everytown for Gun Safety.

A music video was also released by the band alongside the cover, which was directed by a long time collaborator of Tenacious D, Liam Lynch, who also directed the band’s film The Pick Of Destiny, released in 2006.

“Who better to deliver a tribute to the greatest rock opera of all times? Who? The D! That’s Who!!”, a statement from the duo read.

“We’ve been working on this medley for 20 years. It’s finally ready to be unleashed. Crank it. It’s a humdinger. Enjoy”. Check out that video, along with Nova’s report here.
