Due to popular demand, the Coronas have added extra dates for Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre for later this year.

Yesterday, the band announced two shows at the venue, taking place on December 16 and 17, with tickets going on sale this Friday at 9am.

The Coronas had released their latest album ‘Time, Stopped’, last October, which soared straight to number one in the Irish charts, meaning that they are the first self released Irish band to have three consecutive number albums in the charts.

Mixed by Grammy Award winner Peter Katis, the album also featured long time collaborators of the band Cathal McSweeney, John Broe, Dave O’Keefe and Lar Kaye.

Due to phenomenal demand, the band have now confirmed that they will also perform at the 3Olympia on 14 and 15 December, to go with their original dates.

Tickets once again will go on sale this Friday at 9am.

“Due to phenomenal demand, @TheCoronas have announced another two shows at @3OlympiaTheatre on 14 & 15 December 2023″, Ticketmaster wrote. “Tickets for all four shows are on sale Friday at 9am”.

This announcement also comes just days after the Coronas rocked the stage at Electric Picnic over the weekend.

The band also performed at Dublin’s Fairview Park earlier this Summer.
