Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl has gone viral once again. This time he ‘adopted’ a fan at a gig. You can check out the special moment below. The Foo Fighters were rocking at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, Texas. During a performance of the track ‘Big Me’ the singer noticed a fan holding a sign up in the air which read ‘NO DAD BE MINE?’

Speaking to the kid (called Landon), Grohl said, ‘What? Dude, I have three kids. You wanna be my fourth kid?. For the next four minutes. I’m gonna, I’ll be your daddy. After an emotional performance as well as an embrace, Landon told the audience, ‘I hope this is the best show that you’ve ever been to ’cause it certainly is for me.’

Later on Landon spoke to the Houston press, ‘I came here like, you know what, this is my first time being in the pit, I gotta do something, I want to get this guy’s attention because Dave Grohl is like, my idol. So I think, hey, let me make a sign and I felt like it would get his attention. I didn’t want to [show] it in the beginning, so I did it in the end and it worked out. I’m being completely serious when I say I’ve dreamed about that exact thing happening for years.’ Bless.

This follows on the back of another show on their current tour which saw Grohl get blown away after he invited a Kiss Fan on stage to perform ‘Monkey Wrench’. Foo Fighters return to Europe for a run of tour dates in June.
