Foo Fighters Mashup Lennon And Van Halen And It Works!

Foo Fighters have shared a clip of them jamming a mashup of John Lennon and Van Halen.

Grohl and co are currently rehearsing for their upcoming tours and have shared a clip of their ‘performance’ on Twitter. It actually works! It features the lyrics of Van Halen’s ‘Jump’ against the music of Lennon’s ‘Imagine.’

The Foos frontman wrote on twitter,

Woodshedding for the summer tour has never felt so good….see you out there….(I’ll learn the words by then, I swear) Thanks to Mighty Mike for the inspirado. (Oh, and Halen and Lennon, too)’

The band are touring in South America and will kick off a US leg of shows before starting their Europe and UK gigs in June.

The band announced the support acts for the European tour with acts that include The Kills, Slaves, Wolf Alice and Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes joining them on the road.

Foo Fighters won Best International group at The BRIT Awards, where they took to the stage to perform ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood’ on the roof of a house.

In other news, Liam Gallagher told the NME that the Foos want to collaborate with him. Gallagher said,
‘They keep texting me, man. They wanted to do one tune, but I dunno, I’ll do it one day, but I’m too busy doing this at the moment. But I do like them, I think Foo Fighters have got good tunes. I think Dave Grohl’s very talented, and so is the band.’
