Catherine Harding, the mother of Jude Law's daughter Ada Law, has responded to an incident that involved Chappell Roan and Ada.
The mum of one had a brief romance with the actor back in 2014 when the pair spent six weeks together in the Czech Republic, while Jude was on set filming for the movie Spy. They welcomed Ada in May of 2015.
Catherine, who is now married to footballer Jorginho, has admitted online that she can't believe that the incident 'would get this crazy.'
She tried to highlight her side of the story on her own social media, 'I did not ask the security guard to go up to this mother and child...They didn't come up to me. They weren't doing anything. It's unfair for security to just assume someone doesn't have good intentions when they don't have reason to believe, because there's no action even taken.'

Defending her daughter, Catherine felt that she had to speak up, admitting that she 'didn't realise it would get this crazy,' acknowledging that Chappell had responded to the incident.
However, Catherine reiterated what her husband had said and how their daughter did not try to approach her.
'100 per cent, this security guard was not a security guard of the hotel...I don't know if he was her personal security guard, but he was with her. That is all I know. Did she send him to do it? Again, I don't know.'

She went on to say, 'I think that you have a responsibility when you are a celebrity to make sure, I guess, that the people who work for you and that act on your behalf are acting on your behalf...Would he do that if he didn't have her authority to do so? I don't know. If he does, then, obviously, that's a big problem because then he's representing her in a way that she doesn't want to be represented.'
