Blackbird Presents has confirmed the release of Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert featuring performances by Willie Nelson, Brandon Flowers, Sheryl Crow and Steven Tyler and a whole host more set to be dropped in January 2019.
The concert/movie release will comprise of the iconic pantheon of artists who came out to pay tribute to the former Beatle back in 2015. The show took place at New York City’s The Theater at Madison Square Garden as a celebration of Lennon’s iconic career.
John Lennon’s wife Yoko Ono said in a statement,
“It’s beautiful to see so many wonderful and talented musicians come together for this special show to celebrate John ’s birthday,”. “John ’s art continues to give hope, light and happiness to generations of people everywhere. His belief that each of us can change the world continues to inspire the human race to believe in themselves, and his influence is everlasting in everyone’s hearts as we all share in the possibilities and power of music.”

Billboard reports that the show will also be dropped as an LP record features artists that see Kris Kristofferson, Peter Frampton, Juanes, Tom Morello, Pat Monahan (Train), Chris Stapleton, Kevin Bacon and Eric Church all perform. Although a full tribute show is not yet available, fans can watch the final, star studded rendition of The Beatles anthemic song “All You Need is Love.”
