World’s Strongest Man champion Tom Stoltman is set to become the newest Gladiator after joining the cast of the hit BBC One show.
The Scottish strongman has been announced as the latest addition to the series, although his official Gladiator name has not yet been revealed.
The fourth series of the revived show will begin filming in Sheffield next month ahead of airing on BBC One in 2027.

Speaking about joining the programme, Stoltman said it was a dream opportunity.

Standing at 6ft 8in, Stoltman, from Invergordon in the Scottish Highlands, made history when he became the first Scot to win the World’s Strongest Man title in 2021.
He successfully defended his title in 2022 before winning the competition for a third time in 2024.
Known for his incredible strength and record-breaking performances in events including the Atlas Stones, Stoltman now takes on a new challenge as part of the Gladiators team.
The BBC revival of Gladiators launched in 2024 and sees contestants compete against a team of elite athletes in a series of physical challenges. The show has been renewed following its strong popularity with viewers.
Stoltman will join the existing Gladiators roster for the upcoming fourth series, with fans waiting to find out the larger-than-life character name he will take into the arena.
