Tickets for the 2027 Ryder Cup will go on sale this Friday.

The iconic golf event, the 100th anniversary edition, will take place at Adare Manor, co Limerick from September 13-19 2027, with prices set At €499 per day, with the Irish ticket window operating on a first-come first-serve basis.

While the €499 price may appear steep for fans, it does not appear quite so shocking when you consider the $750 fans would have had to fork out to attend the Ryder Cup in Bethpage in New York last year, which was emphasised by Ryder Cup Europe.

It was also announced ractice day tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday September 14 and 15 will start from €89, while Thursday tickets, including the opening ceremony are priced at €179. Under 16s can attend these practice days for just €20 on Tuesday and Wednesday and €30 on Thursday.

Elsewhere, for those unable to get a ticket, the global ticket ballot for fans from the rest of the world will open on Wednesday, June 3 under the same price structure.

Ryder Cup Europe have also announced that there will be no dynamic pricing, which means that fans will not suddenly find prices have suddenly skyrocketed when they come to purchase them, .

When it comes to iconic sporting events, the Ryder Cup is among the best, including the Masters, the Super Bowl, FIFA World Cup, Olympic Games and Wimbledon.

Organisers also expect one third of the overall attendance to be from the island of Ireland.

One golfer who is likely to play a key role in Europe's bid to retain the Ryder Cup is Rory McIlroy, who recently became the latest golfer to win back to back Masters titles at Augusta, adding his name to a list including Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Nick Faldo.

The Down native also came in for huge praise from former Republic of Ireland soccer star Roy Keane, who described McIlroy as "one of the very best".

“I am delighted for Rory. He is absolutely brilliant, one of the very best. I watched all of it. The mentality he has is amazing", Keane said. Find out more on this report from Nova here.

Elsewhere, Rory McIlroy was also recently honoured at the Laureus World Sports Awards, where he won the World Comeback of the Year award for his achievements in 2025.

"There are certain moments in your career that stay with you, and winning the Masters is one I'll carry with me forever. To then have a year like that recognised by Laureus is very special," McIlroy said in a video message.

"Completing the career Grand Slam was incredibly emotional. It's something I've been chasing for a long time, and it probably means more because of everything that came before it - the near misses, the setbacks, and the questions along the way".
