Just weeks after two sold-out shows at The O2 in Dublin, Fleetwood Mac have cancelled future tour dates because John McVie is battling cancer.
The band broke the news on their Facebook page, where they said they’ve cancelled their upcoming 14 gigs in Australia and New Zealand as the bassist is scheduled to be in cancer treatment during that time.
Although not technically a founding member, McVie put the “Mac” into Fleetwood Mac and was married to the band’s former keyboardist and vocalist Christine McVie
It’s not specified what form of cancer John McVie has, but we’re hoping he beats it by a Landslide.
