Robert Pattinson has spoken about the ambient music he made whilst filming 'The Batman', which remains unreleased.

Pattinson played the DC superhero in Matt Reeves’ 2022 blockbuster, at the time of the film's release, he revealed that he had spent his down time working on his own music.

In an interview with GQ, he was asked why he decided to spend his free time this way. “During Batman, I made tons and tons of ambient electronic music, I was in a tent the whole time, basically, whenever I was on a break on Batman, and I’ve got my headphones over the bat ears and I’m making electronic music on MPC with my vape, done up like Batman," Pattinson said.

The Twilight actor then revealed his favourite artists, he said: “I like Nilufer Yanya. Really cool. I really like her. The Gap Band, Bertrand Chamayou. That actually kind of surprised me. I’m like, really? War, I really like War.”

“You know who I really love? I was extremely late to this: 100 Gecs. I absolutely love 100 Gecs. I wish I’d been part of that when it was all taking place. I love their music," he continued.

“I go through periods where I listen to very little music, and I’m in one of those periods right now. I think it’s just too much to do. I’m just reading constantly, and I’m not one of those people who can listen and read. I can’t do two things at the same time," Pattinson said.

The shoot for the sequel of The Batman is set to start in Spring of this year. The film is set to be released in October 2027. It was reported earlier this month that there are talks of Sebastian Stan joining the cast alongside the newly joined cast member, Scarlett Johansson,
