AC/DC's Stevie Young was taken to hospital ahead of the band's show in Argentina as part of their 'PWR Up' tour.
This comes after a spokesperson had confirmed that Young, the guitarist, was reportedly "not feeling well" after arriving in Buenos Aires at the start of last week, and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“Out of an abundance of caution, he was admitted to a local hospital where he is undergoing a full battery of tests", a spokesperson said over the weekend. “Stevie is doing well and is in good spirits. He is looking forward to getting on stage on Monday".
AC/DC are set to play the first of three shows at Monumental Stadium tonight (March 23), with Young said to be fit to perform at the time of writing.
Stevie Young is the nephew of AC/DC's Malcolm and Angus Young.
Back in October, it was reported that AC/DC's Summer show in Edinburgh had broken the permitted noise levels.
Environmental health officers had said that a number of complaints were made after the show. They reportedly started during AC/DC's soundcheck, with one person claiming that their house lights had dimmed due to the amount of power being used inside the arena. More on this story from Nova here.
In December, it emerged that AC/DC were inspired to write a song by US President Donald Trump.
The band were preparing their comeback album, The Razor's Edge in 1990, which happened about the same time as Trump's affair with Marla Maples was hitting the headlines. Trump was married to his first wife Ivana at the time.
The song, titled 'Mistress For Christmas', and includes the lyrics: "I like female form in minimum dress / Money to spend with a capital S / Get a date with the woman in red / Wanna be in Heaven with three in a bed".
“That song's about Donald Trump,” Angus Young said in a previous interview. “He was big news at the time, so we thought we'd have a bit of fun and humour with it".
He also added: “You always have a bit of the 'ol fool-around now and again".
