Founded in Manchester in 2006 by Matthew Dale and Doug Bierton, Classic Football Shirts has grown from a small online business into one of the world's best-known football memorabilia retailers. The company specialises in authentic classic, rare, vintage and modern football shirts, as well as a range of football-inspired apparel and merchandise.

Alongside its successful online store, the brand now operates several physical locations across the UK and the United States, with Dublin becoming the latest city to welcome a permanent shop.

The announcement of the Irish opening was made with a video featuring Irish WWE superstar Sheamus, who helped reveal the new store ahead of its launch.

Classic Football Shirts has built a huge following among football supporters and collectors around the world, attracting more than 1.6 million followers on Instagram thanks to its extensive catalogue of iconic club and international shirts spanning decades of football history.

The opening comes as demand for vintage football shirts continues to grow globally.

Collecting retro kits has become increasingly popular in recent years, driven by nostalgia and fashion trends such as "blokecore", which has seen classic football jerseys become a staple of everyday streetwear as well as matchday attire.

With its first permanent Irish location now open, football fans can browse everything from modern releases to hard-to-find vintage shirts without having to order from overseas.
