Liam Gallagher appears to have ruled out an Oasis headline performance at Glastonbury Festival in 2027, telling fans that the rumoured appearance is “not happening.”
The Oasis frontman was responding to a post from fan account Oasis Mania on X, which claimed that the band were among the favourites to headline the festival next year.
The account wrote: “According to The Scotsman, Oasis are among the favourites to headline Glastonbury 2027, with odds of 4/1. Could we see them return to the Pyramid Stage?”
Liam responded with a typically blunt message, appearing to shut down the speculation.
“It’s not HAPPENING so all you croc wearing flag waving [expletive] can calm the [expletive] down,” he wrote.

His response would appear to rule out an Oasis appearance at Worthy Farm next year, although neither Liam nor Noel Gallagher has made a wider announcement about the band's future plans.
Oasis have been the subject of continued speculation about their plans since their reunion tour, with fans eager to know whether the band will continue performing together beyond their current commitments.
The latest Glastonbury rumours come as Wonderwall continues to enjoy renewed popularity thanks to England's World Cup campaign.
The Oasis classic has become something of an unofficial anthem during the tournament, with supporters regularly breaking into huge singalongs following England matches.
The song recently received another major boost after England's quarter-final victory over Norway, when it was streamed 3.8 million times worldwide, including 379,000 plays in the UK.
It also climbed to No. 2 on Spotify's global chart and reached No. 2 on the UK singles chart.
Following England's victory over Mexico, Wonderwall recorded a 306% increase in listeners during the hour after the final whistle compared with the same period the previous day.
Streams rose from 1,628 to 6,614 during that hour, while daily plays increased by 18% to 200,441.
The song has also become part of England's celebrations, with captain Harry Kane and midfielder Jude Bellingham among those seen joining teammates and supporters in singing along.
Liam has embraced the renewed popularity of the track, previously reacting to one post-match singalong by writing: “It’s hard work that singing Harry Kane cmon ENGLAND cmon WONDERWALL.”

Noel Gallagher has also welcomed the role the song has played during England's World Cup campaign.
After England's victory over Croatia, when players and supporters once again sang the Oasis classic together, Noel said: “Wonderwall belongs to the people, and it was a magical moment between the people and the players.”
Originally released in 1995 as part of Oasis' second studio album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, Wonderwall has remained one of the band's best-known songs and has long been a favourite among football fans.
Meanwhile, Oasis have also been making headlines after their legal team reportedly forced the BBC to remove a World Cup tribute video featuring a number of celebrities singing Wonderwall.
The video featured Stephen Fry, Maya Jama, Claudia Winkleman and Micah Richards among those singing along to the Oasis classic.
Reports claimed the footage was removed after Liam and Noel's legal team intervened, with the BBC allegedly failing to secure the correct permissions to use the song on social media.
The reported intervention came after the BBC noticed the huge reaction to Wonderwall during the tournament and reportedly brought together a number of celebrities in the hope of creating a viral tribute.
The renewed interest in Oasis comes as anticipation continues to build around their reunion documentary, Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger, which is set to arrive on Disney+ and in cinemas this year.
The documentary will explore the band's long-awaited comeback and their return to the spotlight.
