A Lotto player in south Dublin is being urged to check their ticket after scooping a €1 million prize in Saturday night’s draw.
The winning Lotto Plus 2 ticket was sold at Spar in Leopardstown Gardens in Blackrock.
It is the first €1 million top prize to be won since Lotto Plus 2 was revamped earlier this month.

The National Lottery says the winner has not yet come forward.
Spokesperson Sarah Orr said the Quick Pick ticket was bought on the day of the draw and could have been purchased by someone simply passing through the area.
‘We’re encouraging all of our players who might’ve popped into Spar in Leopardstown Gardens to really check those tickets very carefully,’ she said.
She added that the National Lottery had yet to hear from the lucky ticket holder.
The winner is now being urged to check their ticket carefully and make contact with the National Lottery to claim the life-changing prize.
