Guenther Steiner, David Coulthard and Naomi Schiff have been announced for the European Motor Show 2027, which will return to the RDS in Dublin on January 30 and 31.

Following the success of its inaugural event, which welcomed more than 10,000 visitors, the European Motor Show will return for its second year, with Close Brothers Motor Finance confirmed as the show's Headline Sponsor.

The 2027 event will bring together world-class vehicles, leading automotive brands, industry experts, motorsport personalities and thousands of motoring enthusiasts for what is becoming one of Ireland's major indoor events dedicated to cars and entertainment.

The organisers are aiming to make the show even bigger in 2027, broadening its appeal to motoring enthusiasts, families and visitors of all ages while continuing to build its profile nationally and internationally.

Bringing some serious Formula 1 star power to Dublin, the European Motor Show will feature three well-known names from the world of motorsport.

Former Haas F1 Team Principal and Drive to Survive favourite Guenther Steiner will take to the stage alongside David Coulthard MBE, a 13-time Formula 1 Grand Prix winner, and former racing driver and Sky Sports Formula 1 analyst Naomi Schiff.

Across the weekend, the trio will share stories, insights and experiences from their careers at the highest levels of motorsport, giving Irish fans the opportunity to hear first-hand from personalities who have experienced Formula 1 from the pit wall, behind the wheel and in the paddock.

Guenther Steiner said: “I am very happy to be part of the lineup for the European Motor Show in Dublin this January. I’m looking forward to sharing the real stories of motorsport management, from drawing up the Haas F1 team on a kitchen table, to the massive 'Netflix effect' on car culture and my current role leading the Red Bull KTM Tech3 MotoGP and Moto3 team. I can't wait to connect with the Dublin crowd.”

David Coulthard said: “Motor shows like this are where the excitement of the sport meets the everyday passion people have for cars, and Dublin has clearly taken to it in a big way. I am looking forward to being part of the event in January and meeting the fans.”

Naomi Schiff said: “There is a real energy building around the European Motor Show, and it is fantastic to see an event in Dublin that welcomes such a broad mix of people into motorsport and the automotive world. I cannot wait to be part of it in January.”

Other speakers already confirmed for the 2027 European Motor Show include Nadia Adan and Mike Brewer, bringing experience from Formula 1, motorsport, motoring, automotive media and the wider industry.

A number of leading media personalities will also feature, with Craig Doyle, Declan Quigley, Geraldine Hubert, Neil Briscoe and Josh Hill all confirmed to take part.

The 2027 show will showcase a broad range of the automotive world, from the latest models from leading brands to performance and classic cars, electric vehicles, motorcycles and the latest developments in automotive innovation and technology.

Visitors can expect manufacturer and exhibitor displays alongside live talks, interactive attractions, competitions, premium visitor experiences and an expanded programme for families.

A major feature of the main stage will be a live programme bringing cars on and off stage throughout the day. The live drive-on experience will feature a changing line-up of special interest models, drift cars, vintage cars and Japanese imports, alongside the return of the popular Supercar Catwalk.

Visitors will be able to see some of the cars at close quarters, hear the stories behind them and get a look under the bonnet.

Katie Molony of the European Motor Show said: “The response to the first European Motor Show exceeded expectations, with more than 10,000 people joining us at the RDS. It demonstrated the appetite that exists in Ireland for a major indoor event that brings the many different parts of the automotive world together under one roof for all the family to experience together.

For 2027, our ambition is to build on those foundations and deliver an even bigger and more engaging experience. We want people to be able to hear directly from some of the leading names in motoring and motorsport, discover the technology shaping the future of the industry and, most importantly, enjoy a great day out.”

The European Motor Show has also announced Make-A-Wish Ireland as its Official Charity Partner for 2027, continuing the partnership for a second year.

As part of the partnership, €1 from every European Motor Show 2027 ticket sold will be donated directly to Make-A-Wish Ireland, helping the charity grant wishes to children living with critical medical conditions. Ticket purchasers will also have the opportunity to make an additional voluntary donation.

Make-A-Wish will have an awareness stand within the show's Family Zone, while car-loving wish children will also be invited to experience the event.

A major focus for 2027 will be creating an event that appeals to a broad audience, from dedicated automotive enthusiasts to families experiencing the European Motor Show for the first time.

The dedicated Family Zone will give younger visitors their own space to enjoy, with a programme running across the weekend featuring magicians, games, interactive quizzes, traffic light discos, entertainers and meet-and-greets.

There will also be hands-on challenges using Lego, arts and crafts and other STEM-based activities.

At the Digger Café, visitors of all ages can get behind the controls of remote-control diggers, dumpers and crawlers, combining hands-on entertainment with a place to enjoy a coffee.

Accessibility and inclusion will also form an important part of the 2027 event.

A dedicated autism-friendly hour will take place from 9am to 10am, providing a quieter and more sensory-friendly environment for autistic visitors and their families before the main event activity begins.

The Kids Coach will work closely with organisers to provide a welcoming environment where autistic and neurodivergent children and young people can take part, get active and enjoy the event at their own pace.

The Drive Lounge will bring professional sim racing to the show, giving visitors aged 11 and over the opportunity to set their fastest lap, see their performance on the big screen and compete for a place at the top of a two-day leaderboard.

Three-lap sessions will be free, with no previous experience required. Everyone who takes part will also be entered into a bonus prize draw.

The Bike Zone will celebrate two-wheeled performance, adventure and engineering, with a collection of rally, adventure, road and off-road motorcycles showcasing the speed, technology and innovation of modern biking.

Adult day tickets cost €36 and include one free child ticket for a child under 15. Family Passes cost €61 and provide admission for two adults and three children under 15.
