Australian rockers AC/DC recently announced that they will be releasing their own brand of beer. However, The beer will only be available in Australia via Aldi supermarkets.
The branded beer will release on Septmeber 30th and will be available for the duration of their Rock or Bust tour, which begins in Sydney on November 14th.
It will be a pale larger and is being made a German brewery Karlsberg and has been brewed to the ‘Reinheitsgebot’ which is the German Beer Purity Law of 1516.
Speaking about the new partnership an Aldi representative said “We’re very excited to celebrate AC/DC’s legendary rock status with the launch of AC/DC beer in Australia.” They representative continued by saying “The mix of great German Beer and Aussie Rock just seems like a match made in heaven.”
The band are currently on tour in North America but they will be finishing up shortly as they end the tour in Dodger Stadium on September 28th.
Metallica also recently announced their own brand of beer, which is also only exclusive to one country. This time the limited edition beer is only available in Canada during their tour their.
