Bruce Springsteen joined The Doors' John Densmore for a live cover of 'Light My Fire'.
This performance took place at Monmouth University in New Jersey last Saturday night (April 18), when Springsteen appeared at the American Music Honors, an event organised by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center.
As well as recognising The Doors at the event, Dionne Warwick, Dr Dre, Patti Smith and The Band and E Street Band were also awarded at the show.
On stage, Springsteen joined Densmore along with Steve Van Zandt of the E Street Band, as well as the Disciples Of Soul house band for a live cover of 'Light My Fire'.
Prior to his live performance, Springsteen told the audience: “There is no one in the room in danger of filling Jim Morrison’s leather pants tonight".

Speaking at the event, Densmore said: “The Doors played in Asbury Park, and guess who was in the audience – the Boss!".
“Hey, if our music helped Bruce shout out his bride, I’m hip,” he added, referring to Springsteen’s wife Patti Scialfa, who was apparently also at the 1986 gig. “It apparently worked. They’ve been together quite a while. You know, so long that maybe Patty’s the Boss".
Last month, Bruce Springsteen said that his new tour was "going to be political", as he promises to celebrate and defend American values, as he continues to take aim at US President Donal Trump and his administration.
The tour will see Springsteen head over for scheduled across major cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, New York and Washington D.C. More on this from Nova here.
