Fancy being in the presence of over €200 million worth of supercars? …

There are some serious cars on display this weekend at the IVVCC Festival of Transport at Punchestown racecourse in Naas.

Details of the cars to expect at the exhibits have now been revealed and they are the real deal!

Over €200 million worth of cars will be on display on the Chubb Insurance Supercar Stand this Sunday, May 14th. But as they say “if you gotta ask the price, you can’t afford it”.

There will be cars of real character on display including; a 250 Short Wheelbase Ferrari, Blower Bentley, 275 Four Cam Ferrari, an original C Type Jaguar, a DB3 “S” Aston Martin and a Ferrari F40.

As pictured above, the iconic Ferrari F40 was designed to celebrate Ferrari’s 40th anniversary and was the last Ferrari automobile personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. It was built between 1987 to 1992. At the time it was Ferrari’s fastest, most powerful, and most expensive car for sale. Just 1,300 F40s were built.

IVVCC President Shane Houlihan said of the supercars: “The quality and value of machinery on the Chubb Supercar Stand is valued at over €200 million and is simply breath-taking and will undoubtedly be the highlight of the show for most attendees”.

It’s not just cars at the event, you can also check out the motorcycles and steam engines on display. There will also be over 40 trade & auto jumble stands. There is also face painting, ballooning and rides to keep the kids entertained.
The Festival of Transport takes place in the Punchestown Event Centre and racecourse this Sunday May 14th from 10am to 5pm and admission is €10.00 for adults with children going free.
