This morning on Radio Nova’s Morning Glory, PJ Gallagher and Jim McCabe were joined by none other than the leader of the Poultry Party himself, Dustin the Turkey, who’s officially announced his candidacy for President of Ireland.
Following the latest developments in the presidential race, Dustin has decided it’s time to throw his wing into the ring, declaring himself the only candidate with real stuffing!

In a fiery and hilarious studio appearance, the feathered political firebrand, builder and former Eurovision star – who now also has a sideline as brand ambassador for Kylemore Cars – shared his deepest, most honest and definitely most entertaining thoughts on the state of the nation, the election candidates (including former candidate Jim Gavin), and past presidents - including Mary Robinson and the outgoing incumbent, Michael D. Higgins.

As always, the beaked master of mischief didn't hold back – roasting politicians & other media stars and serving up political satire hotter than a Christmas dinner. PJ & Jim, for once, were left gobsmacked (or should that be "gobble-smacked"?), as he dominated the conversation with his non-stop "fowl" mouth!
When it comes to running for President, Dustin says: "It couldn’t be a two-horse race, so I said I’d wing it and liven it up a bit… it’s time for the Poultry Before People Party to give you a REAL turkey in the Áras!".
