The most highly anticipated tour of the year is coming to Dublin this weekend.

The iconic Britpop duo will take to Croke park for two sold out shows on August 16th and 17th, their first Irish gig since 2008!

If you were lucky enough to snag a ticket, here's everything you need to know ahead of the Oasis gigs this weekend.

What time should I arrive?

Doors open at 5pm and supporting acts should take to the stage around 6pm. Oasis have been starting their sets around 8:15pm. The concert will end around 10:30pm. MCD have recommended arriving at least 45 minutes before the show to allow for busy crowds.

Who are the supporting acts?

To add to that 90s Britpop nostalgia English singer-songwriter Richard Ashcroft, former frontman of ’90s alternative rock band The Verve will support the Manchester duo. As well, Liverpool indie rock band Cast will provide support.

Where do I enter?

There are four different entrances into the venue. Your ticket will have the entrance you will take listed. Keep in mind when planning your transport that you will not be allowed in if you go to the wrong entrance.

Blue route: Enter via Jones Road/Russell Street (for Hogan Stand Seating/Premium Seating).

Red route: Enter via St James Avenue off Cloniffe Road (for Cusack Stand Seating/Premium Seating).

Yellow route: Enter via St Margaret’s Avenue (for Davin Stand Seating).

Green Route: Enter via Foster Terrace (for Standing).

How do I get to Croke Park?

This is a very busy concert so allow yourself plenty of travel time. The venue recommends taking public transport or walking/biking due to increased traffic and scarcity of parking.

By train: The two nearest stations are Drumcondra and Clonliffe Road, about a five minute walk from the venue. Irish Rail have also announced it is adding extra intercity trains to Dublin that weekend. There is a late-night service for the concert on Sunday, August 17th, from Heuston to Galway, leaving Heuston at 00:30.

By DART: The closest DART station is Connolly which is a 15-20 minute walk from Croke Park. Alternatively you can get a commuter train from Connolly to Drumcondra.

By Luas: The closest Luas stop is Parnell on the Red Line and Marlborough (from northside) and O’Connell Upper (from southside) on the Green Line. All are a 15 minute walk from Croker.

By Bus: There are a lot of Dublin Bus routes serving Croke Park. The 1, 7, 13, 14, 16, 19, 27a, 29a, 31a, 31b, 32, 33, 40, 40b, 40d, 41, 41b, 41c, 42, 43, 44, 53, 123 and 122 will all take you to the venue. Coming from outside of Dublin? No problem. Expressway is working with the concert’s promoters and offering return coach services both days from Cork, Limerick and Galway. . Other commercial coach operators, like Concert Buses, Irish Concert Travel, Concert Bus, Concert Express, Murray and Son Coaches, will also serve Croke Park

By car: Bear in mind that there is no public parking at Croke Park and traffic cordons will be in place at least two hours before the event. Organisers have asked people not to park cars in residential areas and instead park in the city centre and then take public transport.

By bike: There are plenty of cycle locking facilities around the stadium including the Cusack Stand car park and two-tier bike storage in the Davin Stand car park. No bike? No worries! You can avail of Dublin bike with the nearest locations on the North Circular Road and at Mountjoy Square.

What should I do with my tickets?

The organisers advise you download your tickets on your mobile phone beforehand from the Ticketmaster app or website. You cant take screenshots of your tickets as the barcodes will not work.

If you are having any issues then there is a ticket booth located on Mountjoy Square East.
