Foo Fighters' new album, 'Your Favourite Toy' is out now.
The album, was co produced by the band and Oliver Roman, who also engineered the record. It was also mixed by Mike 'Spent' Stent. This marks a new chapter for the band regarding creativity, which was released via Roswell Records/Columbia Records today.
"‘Your Favorite Toy’ really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album,” frontman Grohl said previously about the album. “We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new".
Back in February, Foo Fighters previewed this album with the title track. Check it out and Nova's report for more here.

Earlier this month, Dave Grohl also shed light on the decision to fire drummer Josh Freese from the band.
Freese, joined the band in 2022, replacing the late drummer Taylor Hawkins. He with Foo Fighters in 2024. However, last May, the band announced that they were letting him go, a decision which left Freese "disappointed" and "shocked".
“A drummer’s playing is based on feel,” Grohl told the Irish Times. “That’s all drumming is: feel. It’s hard to define when you’re playing with someone and it feels ‘right,’ or when you’re playing with someone who feels ‘really good,’ and then you’re playing with someone and it feels ‘fucking amazing.’”
He continued: “It’s personality, it’s your connection, your rhythm that you have together… It’s just a combination, or a recipe – when you’re cooking something and it says, ‘Salt and pepper to taste’ at the end of the recipe; that’s defined by you".
