Iggy Pop & Josh Homme have announced that they will be going on tour together this year. They recently announced that they will be releasing their new album Post Pop Depression via Rekords Rekords/Loma Vista on March 18th.

The 20-date tour includes shows in North America, the UK, and Europe. As previously reported, Pop and Homme will be joined on the road by guitarist/keyboardist Dean Fertita(QOTSA, The Dead Weather) and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders both of whom contributed to the album’s recording.

They will also be joined by QOTSA’s guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and Chavez bassist Matt Sweeney on the tour. The band will start the tour in Seattle on March 28th and finish up in Paris on the 15th of May.

In a recent interview, Josh Homme and Iggy Pop said that the tour’s setlist will include material from Iggy’s 1977 solo album, Lust for Life, including the track ‘Success’, which he has never before performed live. Homme previously described Post Pop Depression as something of a sequel to Lust for Life.
