An intense heatwave with possible record-breaking June temperatures is set to sweep across parts of Europe this week.
France is bracing itself for temperatures which will exceed 40 degrees – with temporary fountains put in place.
Germany, Switzerland and Belgium could all see national records for June broken in the coming days.
Spain meanwhile is facing temperatures of above 35 degrees in large parts of the country, and above 40 in the centre.
