Jack Osbourne has revealed that his sister Kelly is in a "happier place" amid her split from fiancé, Sid Wilson.
This comes after the couple got engaged last year after three years of dating. They share a son together, Sidney, who was born in 2022.
However, it had been reported in PEOPLE that the pair called off their engagement in March this year, with their relationship facing several difficulties, according to reports.
"Kelly and Sid have decided to call off their engagement. Kelly has been struggling following the loss of her father. The grieving process has been incredibly difficult, and she's been doing everything she can to cope. In truth, she and Sid have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared. They tried to make it work, particularly for the sake of their child, but ultimately decided that separating is the best path forward. Kelly has endured a great deal over the past year. Despite everything, she remains sober and is now focusing on herself and her role as a mother moving ahead", a source had said.
Now, Jack Osbourne has said in a recent interview with The Sun, that Kelly is “living her country life, and she’s just doing her thing, being a mum”.
“She’s in a happier place and she’s got a good routine going. She’s focusing on her and her son", he said.
This also comes weeks after Sid Wilson had departed his band, Slipknot, after nearly 30 years together.
“Effective immediately, Slipknot will no longer be associated with Sid Wilson,” the band wrote on Instagram. “We wish him the best in his future endeavors".
