Kelly Osbourne has admitted that "Christmas will never be the same" following the death of her father Ozzy.

The Black Sabbath singer passed away back in July aged 76, just weeks after playing at their 'Back To The Beginning' farewell show in Villa Park, Birmingham, which concluded with Osbourne telling the audience: “Your support has enabled us to live an amazing lifestyle, thank you from the bottom of our hearts”.

The music world paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, including bandmate Tony Iommi, Ronnie Wood, as well as Robert Plant among others. More on this from Nova here.

"never be the same"

This Christmas will see Kelly Osbourne spend the holiday season with her mother Sharon, older half-brother Louis, as well as partner Sid and three year old son, Sidney.

While she did describe Ozzy as a "Scrooge" who "tried to ruin Christmas every years", Kelly has stated that the Osbournes will be spending Christmas Day sharing their favourite Ozzy moments from over the years.

"I never ever want my son to forget his Pappa," she said. "Just how special he was, or is, because I don't believe he's truly gone".

Speaking further about their planned celebrations, Kelly added: "(Louis is) head chef because he's the best at cooking. We're having a big turkey, and then the day after, we are going to a fancy restaurant somewhere, I'm not saying where! Somewhere lovely and have even more celebrations".

Kelly insisted that Sharon is "doing really well" given recent events, and added that her mother has no plans to leave the UK, as her beloved husband was laid to rest there.

"Home will always be Britain. This is where we are from. I go between here and my farm in Iowa in the Midwest," she stated. "Never thought I'd become a Midwestern girl. I'm going back just after Christmas for New Year. I miss my cows and my chickens and my ducks. That will be healing for me".

Back in October, Kelly Osbourne thanked her fans for their support after she picked up an award in his honour, picking up the Lifetime Achievement accolade at the Birmingham Awards.

“Last night I had the honor of accepting my father’s lifetime achievement award on his behalf at the @birminghamawards", she said. More on this from Nova here.

Last weekend, Kelly and Sid's son Sidney was a mascot for the Aston Villa football team before their 2-1 win over Manchester United at Villa Park. Ozzy Osbourne was a known fan of the team.
