Kelly Osbourne has admitted that she "doesn't agree" with her mother, Sharon's endorsement of controversial right wing activist, Tommy Robinson.
This comes after Sharon Osbourne had seemed to confirm that she would take part in the so-called 'Unite The Kingdom' rally at Trafalgar Square, London in May, having replied to Robinson's post by saying: "See you at the march".
Robinson had shared a video on Instagram to the account, GauciReports.
“We have had enough of migration, enough of mass immigration, we’ve had enough of oppression from a tyrannical government", he said.
Sharon's comments caused a stir, with UK homelessness charity, Centrepoint, cutting all ties with her, having worked with her in the past.
Now, speaking to Attitude, Kelly Osbourne has revealed that she does not agree with her mother's support of Robinson, a notorious far right and anti Islamic activist.
“I don’t agree with my mum. That’s one thing that I can say I don’t agree with her on", she said.
Kelly did admit that the entire situation is complicated.
“It’s hard because I love my mum, but I also have to understand that she’s entitled to her own opinions as well. And it’s really hard when it comes to politics and things like that, but I… that’s not for me", she stated.
Back in 2024, Sharon Osbourne had also commented on allowing under 18s to undergo gender transitions, while appearing on The Sage Steele Show.
“It’s like saying oh you’re feeling Japanese today, so you’re Japanese […] it’s insanity!", she said at the time.
Speaking about her mother's views on the subject, Kelly Osbourne did concede that it was "sad" to realise that their opinions on the matter are so different.
“I think that it… I don’t know if my mum knows enough trans people to make a fair judgement or anything to do with that sort of thing", Kelly said. “Whereas for me that is my world. And to be born in a body that doesn’t belong to you, I couldn’t imagine anything worse".
