Kelly Osbourne has spoken out about the strained relationship she shares with her older sister, Aimee Osbourne, revealing that the two have remained largely disconnected for much of their lives.
During her appearance on the 'We Need to Talk' podcast with Paul C. Brunson, Kelly discussed the challenges of growing up without a close bond with her eldest sibling. While she emphasized that she respects Aimee's privacy and personal choices, she acknowledged that their relationship never developed in the way she had hoped.
The divide within the family dates back many years and became particularly noticeable during the height of the Osbournes' reality television fame.

The Osbournes debuted on MTV in 2002, viewers quickly found a love hate relationship with the family. the reality show followed Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack Osbourne, Aimee however, chose not to participate in the series and kept her distance from the public spotlight.
Kelly suggested that her sister preferred to build her life away from the intense attention that accompanied the reality show “She was just in her own world doing her own thing.”
While she accepted that decision, she admitted that she never fully understood the reasons behind it.
Reflecting on their relationship, Kelly described them as fundamentally different people, she also expressed sadness about missing out on the kind of sisterly connection she had imagined growing up, "It's like you couldn't be more polar opposite. We're like oil and water.”
Although she said she respects Aimee and accepts her for who she is, Kelly acknowledged that lingering feelings of hurt remain.
When asked whether reconciliation might be possible in the future, Kelly indicated that she does not expect the situation to change. Despite this, she made it clear that her comments were not intended as an attack on her sister, but rather as an honest reflection on reality.

Kelly stated, “If you're not going to accept me for who I am and constantly be trying to change me,” adding “I don't want you in my life."
The Osbourne family has long lived in the public eye, but Kelly's comments offered a rare glimpse into a deeply personal and private aspect of their family history.
