KISS have been forced to cancel their third farewell tour concert in a row, while frontman Paul Stanley continues to recover from flu.

KISS confirmed this news via a statement shared on social media, having previously pulled the plug on shows in Canadian cities Ottawa (Nov 21), and Toronto (Nov 22).

Tonight’s show was due to take place in Knoxville, Tennessee, with Ticketmaster removing the Thompson-Boiling at Food City Center concert’s ticketing page from the website, in light of this announcement.

KISS Cancel Shows Due To “unforeseen illness”

Earlier today, KISS shared this message via social media.

“Due to an unforeseen illness in the band party, we are unable to perform tonight. Refunds will be available at your point of purchase”, the band wrote.

In light of their cancelled Canadian shows, KISS lead singer Paul Stanley released this statement.

“Toronto and Ottawa… I’ve done everything possible to get onstage and be a part of the incredible 2 1/2-hour celebration we planned but this flu has made it impossible. I along with Gene, Tommy and Eric couldn’t be more disappointed and send our deepest apologies”, he wrote on Wednesday.

As these dates are part of their farewell tour, they are not expected to be rescheduled.
KISS plan to conclude this tour at New York’s Madison Square Garden on December 2, and have also offered fans the chance to watch this show via pay-per-view.
