English rock band New Order announce they're releasing a new record that's expected to be out in the Autumn of 2015.

The band's last release was in 2013, putting out the LP Lost Sirens, their ninth studio record.

While performing at a live gig, New Order premiered a song called ‘Plastic’ in the summer of 2014, rumours then started swirling around that they were recording more new material.

Now the speculation has been confirmed by the group, speaking to Rolling Stone New Order confirmed that two songs have been completed.

The first being 'Plastic' and the other tune is named 'Restless', which features the Chemical Brothers' Tom Rowlands.

Last year there were reports that New Order would be working with LCD Sound System's James Murphy, but he later rubbished the speculation.

The upcoming LP will be their first without bass player Peter Hook, who left the band in 2007.

Frontman Bernard Sumner has put pen to paper to unveil his autobiography ‘Chapter And Verse (

New Order, Joy Division And Me)’.

The 58 year old talks in depth about the song ‘Blue Monday, as well as detailing the tragic death of Joy Division’s 23 year old lead singer Ian Curtis in 1980.
