The late great Motorhead icon Lemmy Kilmister has been included on a new Jetboy song. The rock legend can be heard delivering a spoken-word piece in “Beating the Odds.” It’s lifted from the band’s forthcoming record Born to Fly.

According to UCR, Lemmy, who sadly passed away in 2015, collaborated on the writing of the piece, called “The Reading,” with Jetboy lead singer Mickey Finn back in the early ‘90s. It reads, “From our childhood homes they take us; in our innocence they make us to march, to fight, to hate; to believe in them, their games, their priceless murderous toys.”
