It has recently been reported that Nick Cave’s 15 year old son has died after falling off a cliff in Brighton. Arthur Cave was named as the person who’s body was found near Ovingdean Gap in Brighton.

Members of the public were said to have carried out first aid on the teenager before he was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where he died due to his injuries.

The incident is now being handled by the coroner’s office and is not being treated as suspicious. Many of Arthur Cave’s friends gathered near the Ovingdean Undercliff Cafe to pay tribute to him.

A statement from Nick and Susie Cave said: “Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy loving boy.” Arthur and his brother Earl both appeared in Nick Cave’s biopic 20,000 Days On Earth which was released back in 2014.

The Cave family had just one final request “We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time.”
