New data has shown that Oasis have sold more tickets in 2025 than Beyoncé.
This data was collated by the leading global trade publication for the live entertainment industry, Pollstar, which revealed this in its 'Year End Business Analysis'.
They said while Beyoncé's tour grossed more in revenue that Oasis' huge reunion tour, it was the Gallagher brothers who performed for more people. It showed that Oasis sold 630,000 more tickets than Beyoncé, 2,228,471 vs 1,596,165. While Oasis also played 36 dates, compared Beyoncé's 32.
This comes despite the fact that Oasis' tour grossed $407 million, compared with Beyoncé's $405 million.
Other acts featuring in the top 10 revenue list for live shows this year, also include Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Post Malone and The Weeknd.
Speaking of Oasis' tour, bandmember Gem Archer revealed that it was initially set to be more expansive, after the band cut four songs from an early version of the setlist, before announcing the final running order.
Archer said: "The boys had been sorting it out for ages. It got amended; we’d started with, I think, 27 songs, and it ended up being 23".
Elsewhere, Archer also reflected on what it is like seeing Noel and Liam Gallagher reunite for the first time since the band's split in 2009, with the guitarist describing the atmosphere as professional rather than sentimental.
“I hadn’t seen them together until the first day we all rehearsed,” he said. “Just looking over and seeing them like five feet apart; it really felt like we’d never split up. But of course I’ve got a guitar in my hand, we’ve got stuff to get on with, so that was it. It wasn’t all lovey-dovey… It was serious business we were getting down to".
Earlier this month, Liam Gallagher also ruled out the prospect of Oasis playing shows next year, quashing any speculation of a follow up run of shows to their reunion tour.
“We’re not doing anything in 2026 sorry", Gallagher tweeted, before later adding: “Nothing going on next year except the WC (World Cup)". Find out more on this story from Nova here.
