Paul McCartney has announced his first run of shows in 2026.

The Beatles legend has announced two gigs at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles for later this month, his first shows since he finished off his 2025 Get Back Tour last November, where he played tracks from his solo catalogue, as well as Beatles and Wings favourites.

McCartney's two shows at the LA venue will take place on March 27 and 28, with tickets available for registration at AXS's McCartney website.

Tickets are also limited to just two per customer, while it is also noted that "extremely limited tickets [are] available" and "registering does not guarantee ability to purchase".

News of this comes as a new documentary on Wings and McCartney debuted on Prime Video, which features archival performances from the band as well as new interviews.

Check out the trailer for Paul McCartney: Man On The Run below.

Speaking about this documentary, Paul McCartney admitted that he "bought into" the idea that he was responsible for the break up of the Beatles in 1970.

The music legend had been widely viewed as the villain of the piece, when it came to the demise of the Fab Four, especially following the death of manager Brian Epstein in 1967, with McCartney announcing the band's split three years later, amid growing tensions between him, John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.

“Whenever I hear someone damning Paul McCartney, I tend to agree with them", McCartney said. “So when everyone was saying I broke up the Beatles, and I was just overbearing and all of that, I kind of bought into it". More on this from Nova here.

Speaking about the Beatles, Irish star Barry Keoghan has described working on the upcoming biopic on the Fab Four as an emotional experience.

Keoghan is to play Ringo Starr in the upcoming Sam Mendes biopics, which are expected to premier in 2028.

He said: It's absolute joy. We're up in Liverpool filming now, so that's sort of thing in itself. The feeling and the response up there — it's beautiful. It hits you everytime". Read more about this interview here.
