Radio Nova’s PJ Gallagher and Jim McCabe visited Dublin’s RHA Gallery today to celebrate their artwork and the launch of incognito.ie
Yes you read right! A Morning Glory masterpiece is part of incognito, Ireland’s biggest online art sale, in which art buyers have absolutely no idea who the artists behind the artworks are until after the sale has closed.
In aid of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, funds go to support in-home nursing care and respite support services for over 400 children across Ireland.
Now in its eighth year, there are more than 1,200 artists lending their support to Incognito in 2024, with over 3,300 original postcard-size artworks for sale. Each piece is priced at €65, no matter the artist. Buyers will have three weeks to peruse and pick their favourite pieces at www.incognito.ie before the sale goes live on Wednesday, April 24.
In addition to TV royalty Thelma Mansfield and award-winning architect Hugh Wallace, among the stars taking part in incognito 2024 alongside PJ and Jim are actress Jerry Hall, fashion designers Don O’Neill, Philip Treacy, Helen Steele, Heidi Higgins and Simone Rocha, and singer Brian Kennedy.
PJ and Jim said: “We’re not up there with all the great painters in the world, like Van Gough or Pavarotti, but we have produced a piece of minimalist brilliance for incognito, and we’d like to think it’s a fair reflection of us as people – the triumph of achievement over talent! While we didn’t necessarily follow ALL the rules of incognito; we think we’ve added value by adding something a little extra at the front of our very exclusive and original artwork! We’re breaking ground for a great cause! We’re delighted to support Jack and Jill again; and encourage everyone to see if they can spot our masterpiece in the collection.”

PJ & Jim will also invite the lucky purchaser of the artwork into the Morning Glory show for an exclusive one-piece art event, with champagne reception, where they will be presented with their original signed PJ and Jim incognito masterpiece.
