The rumor train running strong and is saying that the pop icon is set to play Glastonbury this Summer which amazingly would be the pop icon’s first ever appearance at the annual festival.
According to the Mirror, Prince could top the bill on the final night at this year’s Worthy Farm event, which takes place between June 25-29.
However the news has come from a undefined source so news like this has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
“They met in London and a deal was struck,” “The reaction towards Prince during his time in the capital has been immense and it cemented his desire to play at Glastonbury. He is determined to raise the bar and give a set to remember. There will be a few surprises in store.”
As we reported previously Prince has been playing a number of surprise gigs in the UK where the time and dates have only been given out at late notice. And it has been confirmed that he was at it again at the weekend where he played another two surprise gigs at London’s Kings Place.
However this time the audience were unable to avail of the £10 ticket price that was had at the Shepherds Bush Empire days earlier (February 9). The full £70 ticket price stood this time.
Prince is continuing his UK tour and is believed to hitting Manchester next.
