Pamela Anderson has reportedly joined Liam Neeson in the cast for the upcoming Naked Gun remake.

The former Baywatch star is set to feature alongside Liam Neeson in the upcoming remake of the cop comedy, which is to arrive on cinema screens in 2025.

It is to be based on the hugely popular TV series, The Naked Gun, and films which were created by Jim Abrahams, alongside David and Jerry Zucker, which also saw Leslie Nielson star as the kind hearted, yet naïve detective, Franklin ‘Frank’ Drebin.

Liam Neeson Set For Naked Gun Remake

News of Anderson reportedly joining this cast comes after it was confirmed that Liam Neeson was to star in this long awaited remake.

This Naked Gun remake is to be directed by Akiva Schaffer, who will also serve as executive producer.

Liam Neeson’s decision to accept this offer from producer Seth McFarlane, also came at a time when the Taken star was considering quitting acting altogether.

At the time, Neeson had just finished shooting for his latest action film Road to the Sky, which took place in the small Australian town of Walhalla.

This town even transformed into a Nepalese village for a three week period, due to the amount of tourists visiting the village skyrocketing after Neeson arrived.

In a social media post, the town also called this three week period a “wonderful chapter”.

“And just like that, it’s all over. The Hollywood magic moves on”, they wrote. “It’s been an amazing experience. Fabulous to have so many stars in town. A wonderful chapter in our history book. We hope you have enjoyed the ride too”.
