Sir Rod Stewart has cancelled another concert at short notice after experiencing an “unforeseen” medical issue.
The 81-year-old singer was due to perform at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati last night but was forced to pull out after undergoing what organisers described as an “unforeseen but minor medical procedure”.
The venue confirmed the news in a statement, saying the procedure “required prompt attention”.
“Due to an unforeseen but minor medical procedure that required prompt attention, Rod Stewart’s performance tonight in Cincinnati has been postponed,” the statement read.
“Rescheduling is currently underway, with additional information to follow on Tuesday. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.
“Rod is expected to make a quick recovery and looks forward to returning to Cincinnati.”

The latest cancellation comes just days after Stewart was forced to cancel another show in Cleveland, Ohio.
His performance at Rocket Arena on Tuesday, August 11, was cancelled after doctors advised him to rest for at least 48 hours following a period of monitoring.
Rocket Arena shared a statement on Instagram on Monday evening, saying: “Following a period of monitoring, doctors have advised Rod Stewart to rest for at least 48 hours.
“As a result, his performance tomorrow night, August 11, 2026 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland has been cancelled.”
The statement added that Stewart was “disappointed to miss the show” but appreciated fans' understanding and was looking forward to returning to the stage.
Refunds are available from the point of purchase.

The cancellations come after a difficult few months for the Maggie May singer, whose health has repeatedly disrupted his touring schedule.
In June, Stewart pulled out of a concert in Chula Vista, California, less than an hour before he was due to take to the stage.
He was diagnosed with an acute upper respiratory infection, laryngitis and vocal fold strain, leaving him unable to perform.
Earlier in the summer, he also cancelled another performance after being diagnosed with an acute upper respiratory infection which later developed into laryngitis.
Despite his recent health difficulties, there has been some happy news in Stewart's personal life.
The singer recently became a grandfather for the sixth time after his daughter Ruby Stewart welcomed her second child.
Ruby, 39, announced the arrival of her baby boy with fiancé Jake Kalick on Instagram.
The couple welcomed their son, Levi Rhodes Kalick, on August 4.
The new arrival adds to Stewart's famously large family.
The singer is father to eight children from five relationships, and his family has continued to grow as his children begin families of their own.
