The Rolling Stones' new album, 'Foreign Tongues' continues to go from strength to strength after reaching top spot across the world.
Having already reached No1 in the UK Charts, and equalled the Beatles' tally of 15 number one UK albums in the process, the album has now become an international sensation. It has now hit top spot in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria and Belgium.
It has also reached the top in Australia, as well as third in the Billboard Top Rock & Alternative Albums Chart and No 7 in the Billboard 200.
Taking to Instagram, the Rolling Stones thanked their fans for their support following this latest achievement.
"From record shops to listening parties.. Thank you for taking Foreign Tongues around the world", they wrote. "It’s been incredible to see your support from every corner of the globe. We really hope you’re enjoying the album!".

Previously, bandmembers Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood told Reuters that they hoped to take Foreign Tongues on tour.
"Ronnie and I are really into that, so we hope to see everyone on the road", Jagger said to Reuters at a launch party for the album in London earlier this month. More on this here.
