Irish footballer Roy Keane fought back tears as he was comforted by Ian Wright while looking at a photo of his late parents.
The photo pictured the Cork man’s parents Maurice and Marie outside Wembley after a cup game with Manchester United.
It resulted in an emotional moment for Keane as he was comforted by Wright, his Stick to Football co-host.
"You’re on about photos, look at that there You’re on about family, the ups and downs of football. But when you see your family at Wembley after you’ve won a big game," Keane trailed off before passing the photo to Gary Neville
Wright was then seen putting his hand on Keane's back as he held back tears after discussing his parents.,
"That's beautiful." Wright told him.
Keane’s father, known to many as Mossie, passed away in 2019 at age 79, after suffering from a stroke the year previous.
Recognising Keane's reaction, Jill Scott added: "That's why photographs are so good to keep, aren't they?”
"Some people have the photographs instead of [having them] on their phone."
The now 57-year-old footballer had a decorated career, making it to the FA Cup final with Manchester United four times.
During his time with the Red Devils he won the treble in 1999 and seven Premier League titles.
After composing himself, Keane pointed at another childhood picture of himself and his siblings, the one-time Tottenham fan quipped: "I'm in a United top there but that was my brother's, I think the Spurs one was sold out."
The ex-footballers also brought in copies of their old contracts to reminisce together.
One of Keane's contracts revealed that he his signing-on fee paid him £1million a year until it expired.
Additionally 20 flights from Manchester to Cork and back was offered to the former captain to see his family and kids
The contract also allowed Keane to play for the Republic of Ireland national team, something he did 67 times, scoring nine goals.
