Stevie Nicks, ever the mystic rock icon, has announced eight new shows for her 2025 tour in the wake of four high-profile stadium cancellations with Billy Joel. And in typical Stevie fashion, she’s made the pivot with grace, intimacy, and a statement soaked in calm defiance: “New shows just added! Hope to see you out there. Love, Stevie.”

The new dates begin on August 8 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and run through October 25 in Hartford, CT, rounding out what now stands as a 17-date run across North America. This reshaped leg of her tour arrives after Billy Joel pulled out of their joint dates due to a diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, a neurological condition that affects balance, hearing, and vision. That news was met with concern and sympathy—but also a glaring silence from Joel’s side, with Nicks opting to carry the momentum forward herself.

This isn’t simply about filling dates. It’s about an artist—at 76—who refuses to let the machine grind to a halt. And make no mistake: Stevie Nicks still commands devotion. Her blend of vulnerability, theatricality, and longevity is almost absurd in its consistency. Where others fade or stumble, she glides. Not always effortlessly—but with an awareness of legacy that so many others in her sphere lack.

These new shows are also arriving alongside creative rejuvenation. Nicks has recently spoken about collaborating with HAIM, the sister trio she reveres. “They are something that I have never heard before,” she told GQ. “But coming from Mick Fleetwood’s great love of their kind of percussion, for me in a way, it’s like coming home. They could certainly all have been in Fleetwood Mac.”

The way she phrases it—nostalgic, cryptic, loaded with reverence—is signature Stevie. “Some day, when you tumble into this song, you will understand everything I have just told you.” It’s not just an announcement. It’s a premonition. There’s always a touch of prophecy in how she communicates—lyrics, press releases, even social media posts. She doesn’t just tour—she casts spells.

With Fleetwood Mac’s future all but frozen in amber, Nicks isn’t just the last witch standing. She’s evolving—creatively, emotionally, and now logistically. These shows won’t simply be another run through the hits. For those paying attention, they may well be a coded message in plain sight. A continuation. A chapter. Or maybe a final word she hasn’t decided how to write yet.

Tickets for all newly announced shows go on general sale June 20 at 10am, with presales starting the day before.
