New Order band members have stepped away from touring "due to personal health reasons", the band have confirmed.
The band have announced that Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert will not be joining the band for their show at Primavera in Chile in November.
Announcing the news on their Instagram account, New Order said: “Circumstances make it impossible".
“New Order are very happy to be playing Primavera in Chile in November marking the band’s first performance there in seven years", they continued. “Due to personal health reasons, Stephen and Gillian won’t be touring for the foreseeable future and will not be joining for this show. Bernard, Phil and Tom are really sorry that Stephen and Gillian can’t join us this time, but unfortunately the circumstances make it impossible".
As things stand, this just leaves frontman, Bernard Sumner as the only original bandmember of New Order will will perform at the festival in Santiago, Chile Primavera, which will run between November 26 and 28.
Summer will be joined on stage by Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman, who have been performing with New Order since 2011.

November is to also see New Order inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on November 14 in LA, with Peter Hook who founded the band set to attend this ceremony, despite leaving the band in 2007.
Back in April, Peter Hook dedicated Joy Division/New Order's induction to Ian Curtis. Hook had played with Joy Division until they became New Order when Curtis died from suicide in 1980.
In a video posted on social media, Hook said “Hi. I’d just like to say how wonderfully pleased I am to be finally accepted into the Cleveland Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame".
“I’ve been looking forward to it for years, so I definitely am gonna make the most of it. I’d like to say that this is for Ian Curtis, and for all our fans of both bands. Without you, we would be nothing. So thank you so much", he added. More on this here.
