U2 Release Short Film ‘Song For Someone’

U2 have finally released their short film for their new single ‘Song For Someone’. The song is off their album Songs Of Innocence which came out back in 2014.

#The short film was directed by Vincent Haycock and features Hollywood actor Woody Harrelson. The video also features Harrelson’s daughter Zoe Harrelson who appears near the end of the video. The video premiered on Sundance TV and it thematically links to their Peabody award-winning series Rectify. The show follows the story of Daneil Holden and the man’s family as they struggle to move forward after Daneil is released from death row after 19 years.

U2 will play their penultimate show of their four night stint at Boston’s TD Garden tonight. Their final show will be tomorrow night, before they move onto “The World’s Most Famous Arena” Madison Square Garden.

They will a play a marathon 8 show run at MSG to finish off the North American leg of their tour. They will then take a five week break before returning to the European leg of the tour which begins in Turin, Italy on September 4th.
