John Bonham eat your heart out. Foo Fighters got an eight-year-old fan onstage at a gig last week and things got a little awkward when the eager kid outstayed his welcome. Fan footage from the show is below…

Foo Fighters rocked a show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Friday, May 4th when the band invited a Venezuelan kid named Little Fonzie onto the stage to perform a drum solo.

After lengthy enough of a drum solo, Grohl said to the aduience: “He’s still going… Can I have my concert back?” Calling the little kid’s dad onto the stage, Grohl then jokingly said: “What are we gonna do? There’s nothing we can do… We’re not in day care right now.”

It’s been quite the tour for the Foo’s so far. On the road they’ve been joined by an awesome shredder in Austin, Texas. That was when ‘Kiss Fan’ unleashed some licks during a version of ‘Monkeywrench’. The Foo Fighters hit Jacksonville, Florida and were joined by John Travolta onstage during a rendition of ‘You’re The One That I Want’. A couple chose their gig to get married while Dave Grohl and Co played their classic ‘Everlong‘.
