Guns N'Roses kicked off their live tour over the weekend, and played their tracks, 'Nothin' and 'Atlas' live for the first time.
This live show came from Monterrey in Mexico, at the Parque Fundidora, their first show of their 2026 World Tour.
On stage, the band kicked off with classics like ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ and ‘Mr Brownstone’, before treating fans to ‘Paradise City’, ‘Don’t Cry’, ‘Civil War’, ‘November Rain’ and their version of ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’ later on in the set.
On the night, the band also performed live covers of Black Sabbath’s ‘Sabbath Bloody Sabbath’, Wings’ ‘Live And Let Die’, Velvet Revolver’s ‘Slither’, The Damned’s ‘New Rose’ and UK Subs’ ‘Down On The Farm’.
Ahead of this tour, Guns N'Roses had announced that they would be embarking on this tour without bandmember Melissa Reece.
The band confirmed this news in a statement.
"Rock legends Guns N’ Roses have announced that Melissa Reese will not be joining the band on tour due to unforeseen personal reasons," they said. "We hope our fans understand".
Reese had been performing with the band since 2016 as their second keyboardist, and has worked with them since Axl Rose, Duff McKagan and Slash reunited that same year. She has also worked with their drummer, Bryan 'Brian' Mantia prior to joining G'n'R, with the pair working on video game soundtracks under the moniker of Brian and Melissa. More on this here.
This also comes after Guns N'Roses added extra dates to this tour, including Adelaide, Townsville, Brisbane, Newcastle, Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland in New Zealand. More on this from Nova here.
