For the first time in 13 years, Scissor Sister performed live on stage as a band.
The band, played this show at Brighton's Concord 2 ahead of their reunion tour, celebrating 25 years since their debut album, featured Jake Shears alongside bassist Babbydaddy and guitarist Del Marquis.
However, the tour does not include second vocalist, Ana Matronic, who announced that she would not be joining her bandmates, due to her podcasting commitments.
Earlier this week (May 7), Scissor Sister played their first intimate warm up show in Brighton, performing hits including ‘Take Your Mama’, ‘Laura’ and ‘Filthy/Gorgeous’ from the record, alongside classics like ‘Let’s Have A Kiki’ and ‘I Don’t Feel Like Dancin”.
Their 22 song set saw them perform a number of deep cuts, including ‘Better Luck’, ‘Lovers In The Backseat’ and ‘It Can’t Come Quickly Enough’.
They also played covers such as Tiga’s ‘You Gonna Want Me’ for the first time, as well as Pink Floyd‘s ‘Comfortably Numb’, the latter features on their self-titled debut.
