So last night was a bit good!
Slash, Myles, Brent, Todd and Frank managed to successfully rock The Olympia!
From start to finish, this was a pure Rock n Roll show..
With the band introduced by notorious bad boy, Charlie Sheen, who then went on the conduct the Charlie Sheen Show from box 9 of the theatre, keeping everyone entertained, including the band, who were playing on stage and watching Charlie’s antics! (Including nearly falling out of the box!)
This is not your typical review, I’m not going to run through song lists and ruin encores etc, but I do hope you get the 15 minute version of Rocket Queen that we got on Sunday!
Conspiritors Todd (bass & vocals) and Frank (rhythm & vocals) struck me as two heads who’ve won the lotto several times over and are loving the RnR attention, both are very much in love with their hair and appear to be in a shampoo commercial while playing on stage!
I won’t bore you with how brilliant Brent Fitz was keeping it all together behind the kit.. So Solid!
Myles is faultless, vocals are note perfect and he looked to me to having a ball..
Slash, even dripping wet from sweat, is the definition of cool. An amazing player, so comfortable with his bandmates. He’s found a groove with these guys and it works.
A 2 hour solid show, you will not be disappointed.
Afterwards the entourage moved to Lillies, where Slash drank water and Charlie drank…. emm.. More!
Our party of 4 “after showed” in “Abra” Portmarnock and we even saw Slash there, a guy having a slash (on the street) there!
Rock N Roll!
