Oprah Winfrey was spotted at a local pub in Dublin ahead of her huge appearance at the 3Arena on Monday night.
The talk show host and media mogul was in the 3Arena on Monday night for her one-night-only show, Up Close with Oprah Winfrey.
The show was described as an intimate conversation with Oprah, hosted by David Meade, while Niall Breslin was on hand with a musical performance.

Ahead of the show, Oprah was spotted in Doheny and Nesbitt in Baggot Street, where, according to the pub’s owners, she enjoyed ‘some tasty food and a few scoops.’
The bar’s co-owner, Paul Mangan, posed for a pic with Oprah in the pub, wishing her luck in the 3Arena and thanking her for coming to the pub.
‘Honor [sic] to have @oprah in last night before for some tasty food and a few scoops,’ the pub wrote on Instagram. ‘Best of luck in at the @3arenadublin tonight and thank you for visiting.’

People were delighted to see Oprah enjoying herself in the pub, with one commenting: ‘Now that is some great visitor to have in your pub. OMG.’
‘Was she going to see Westlife?’ another joked, while a person who was with Oprah on the night commented: ‘Cheers for the hospitality Paul.’

Oprah was joined by her best friend and contemporary, Gayle King, during the visit to the pub – although, she admitted later on in the 3Arena that she wasn’t the biggest fan of Guinness.
‘We and Guinness don’t get along too well,’ she told the audience. ‘I think you must have an acquired taste for it, right? It takes a minute.’
