Zach Bryan recently announced plans to sell his entire back catalogue for $350 million.

The singer songwriter plans to sell the catalogue to a new entity. While in a separate deal, he has also renewed his contract with Warner Records, which was due to expire after his next album, The Star.

Now, it has been reported that the singer has agreed a two album deal with Warner Brothers, according to Variety, who has also said that Bryan has sold his publishing rights to a new company called Merrit Group. This business venture is headed up by Cameron Strang, who had previously served as CEO at both Warner Bros Recors and Warner Chappell Music publishing.

Bryan's deal with Merritt marks one of the highest that any artist has received for selling their publishing rights. For instance, David Bowie's estate sold his publishing rights for $250 million, while Neil Young sold 50% of his publishing rights for a reported $150 million. Last year, KISS sold their music catalogue rights, their name and log to Pophouse Entertainment for $300 million. More on this here.

Having concluded his Quittin Time tour at the end of last year, Zach Bryan has said he will play a number of special dates, having headlined Stagecoach this Summer. He will play three shows at Dublin's Phoenix Park on June 20, 21 and 22, as well as BST Hyde Park, London on June 28 and 29.
