Liam Gallagher has blasted Manic Street Preachers and Suede, branding them as “s***”, and they “lack swagger and style” and “dress like estate agents”.
The Oasis singer made these comments on social media, after the two bands announced a co headline UK arena tour recently, which will see them hit the road later this year. Prior to this, the bands had performed a run of North American shows in 2022, and the UK in 2024. They also toured together in 1994.
When asked if he had seen this announcement, Liam Gallagher was quick to make his feelings on the subject known on social media.

The singer's comments surprised fans given how friendly he has been with the Manic Street Preachers over the years, as well as touring with them several times. They had supported Oasis during their first ever stadium headline show in Manchester in 1996.
They also joined Gallagher and co for two shows at Balloch Castle Country Park and at the famous Knebworth shows that same year.
“Both s*** and lack attitude, swagger and style,” he added. “Dress like estate agents and if they want bring it f****** on".
News of this comes as Liam Gallagher appeared to hint that a 2027 European tour looks on the cards for Oasis, after he told Italian fans that the band will play live in Rome next year.
The singer appeared to have confirmed huge rumours of further European shows for Oasis. While greeting fans in Rome this week, Gallagher was asked if he was be in "Roma next year", who which he replied "Without a doubt, 100 per cent"
