Black Sabbath are to release their first official book, The Masters of Reality Why Black Sabbath Matters.
The book will arrive in October and will explore the history of the band between the late 1960s and their final show at their 'Back To The Beginning' concert.
It was also confirmed that limited edition copies of the album were signed by all four original members of the band, including the late Ozzy Osbourne, who signed the book before his death in July last year.
The book will be available in three editions, a leather-bound signed super deluxe edition, a standard edition in hardback with a foil Henry on the cover, and a brushed-metal signed super deluxe edition.
Spearheaded by photographer, Ross Halfin, the book will include more than 500 pages of rare photos and memorabilia, as well as written essays from Dave Ling and Geoff Burton, and interviews will all Black Sabbath members.
In a statement shared in a press release, Ross Halfin said: “Ozzy and Sharon wanted the book out soon after the final show in Birmingham but Ozzy suddenly passing away caused the music world to stop. Ozzy was fully involved with the book and he signed the book plates months before the final show, as did all the bandmembers. So now we all thought the time was right, one year after ‘Back To The Beginning,’ to announce the project. A book we all feel celebrates both Black Sabbath and Ozzy and illustrates just how important they are. I hope fans enjoy it".

News of this comes after it was also announced that a museum in Birmingham would host a one-day event in honour of Ozzy Osbourne.
